Responsibilities:Executive Editor, News Practices, is responsible for standards and practices across all ABC News platforms. As part of the news practices group, you will be expected to be able to cover a wide range of ABC News content including ABC News Digital, World News Tonight, Good Morning America, Nightline, 20/20, Newsone, Early Morning News, Lincoln Square Productions, ABC News Audio, ABC News Live and special programming. Applicants should have a proven track record of superior editorial news judgment over a period of years in a fast-paced digital and broadcast news environment. This position will require working weekends and at night.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience
- A candidate must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, exercise diplomacy, maintain confidential information, and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the News Division.
Preferred Qualifications:Prior broadcast, radio, long form and digital experience
Required EducationBA or BS from a 4 year accredited college or university or equivalent experience
