Job Summary:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge infrastructure and operations projects. Effectively managing the WIP for a diverse team of engineers across disciplines on a daily basis to complete projects on time is key to success in this role. Technical PMs will develop project plans, detail requirements, and identify problems early for remediation. This role is key to delivering exciting video products to consumers around the world.Responsibilities:
Work closely with engineers and product owners to distill technicalrequirements into easily actionable user stories and plans Work with other TPMs to make sure external project dependencies are properly tracked
Identify and communicate key performance indicators
Identify project roadblocks and issues and develop strategies for continually moving the project forward
Develop, maintain and effectively execute build iterations throughout the life of assigned projects, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration and associated resource requirements
Participate in decisions on what features products should have and their prioritization
Assist with technical feasibility, implementation approach, deployment strategies, and QA efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Required At least 3-5 years of project management experience with exposure to Infrastructure and OperationsStrong oral and written communication skills
Effectively communicates with technical and non-technical staff
Experience with Agile and Traditional project methodologies
Motivation to understand complex technologies and interactions
and distilling them into requirements and tasks
Strong process development and refinement ability
Passionate about motivating and keeping teams productive
Leadership across a range of technical disciplines: Networking,
Storage, Database
Preferred Qualifications:
