A day in the life…Interns will assist with the daily office operations of LIVE! answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, running errands, answering the intern email account, and other production tasks that come up throughout the day. Interns will also help producers with research for segments and will have the opportunity to observe different areas of the show’s production.
- A self-starter; willingness to take initiative
- Pursuing a career in television/media field
- Previous internship experience within a related field
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
- Proven skills utilizing Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Major or previous coursework in Broadcast Journalism, Communication or related major
- Previous internship experience in production
- Demonstrated interest in the Television industry
- Junior or Senior level standing
•All students must possess unrestricted work authorization
•All students must be at least 18 years old
•At the time of application, must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring) prior to participation in the internship program – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship.
•All candidates must be available from January 2022 through May/June 2022
•All candidates must be willing to work 24 - 32 hours a week
*Students must be willing to relocate to the New York City area and provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
