Job Summary:

Disney Streaming Services is a business unit within The Walt Disney Company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) segment that oversees all consumer-facing digital video subscription services across the company. Disney Streaming is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service, programmed in conjunction with ESPN; the upcoming Disney SVOD service; and BAMTECH Media, a global leader in direct-to-consumer video streaming products and solutions. Its core mission is to deliver global audiences the freedom to access content on their terms across any connected device, time or location.

Growth Marketing at Disney Streaming Services is a cross-functional team with a focus on driving engagement and retention of streaming subscribers. Our team is responsible for deriving insights on what drives retention, the systems to reach subscribers wherever they are and the most effective message to drive product stickiness. The team is results driven, data informed and thoughtful in our approach to growth. The ideal candidate will possess a T-shaped skill set across marketing, product, analytics and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage and ensure flawless execution of retention marketing programs for email, push, direct mail, and other engagement channels
  • Interface between analytics and marketing to develop processes for list segmentation, email marketing, push campaigns, landing page optimization, testing and deployment
  • Work within complex programs, writing requirements and specs, data analysis, quality control, knowledge of CANSPAM, GDPR and privacy
  • Data management, working with internal teams and vendors to perform various data-related functions. Support CRM data transfer and enhancement processes to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Coordinate with analytics and data engineering to on tracking requirements and facilitate data flow across systems and services
  • Make build, buy, or partner recommendations for growth marketing technology stack
  • Partner with growth marketing to launch, test, and optimize retention campaigns and journeys for subscribers
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaigns across personalization, dynamic content management, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing operations, product management, program management or directly relevant field
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with at least one email services provider platform (e.g., Salesforce, Eloqua, Responsys, etc...)
  • HTML knowledge; ability to troubleshoot simple HTML errors
  • Excellent data analysis, modeling, SQL or equivalent query language
  • A/B and multivariate test design, execution and analysis with internal tools or vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and startup environment
