Job Summary:We are ABC News Marketing & Creative, and we produce marketing assets for ABC News, including on-air promos, sizzle reels, and all other marketing assets for ABC News.
Responsibilities:A day in the life…
You would support and contribute to the daily production of ABC News Marketing & Creative, including on-air network news promos, internal sizzle presentations, radio promos, show elements, etc.
Some responsibilities include…
- Working with our production team on critical and timely areas of production day-to-day - often minute-to-minute
- Researching, screening, assembling, editing, and organizing video and graphic assets in multiple formats
- Helping coordinate highly critical “day of air” responsibilities, interfacing with all ABC News programs and all across Disney ABC Television
- Assisting our group with detailed record keeping, interaction with voice–over talent and a wide array of cross functions
Basic Qualifications:What you bring to the role…
- Energy, ambition, detail-driven, creative, someone who can hit the ground running
- Ability to perform detail-oriented work under very rigid deadlines
- Experience editing, and working in television or film production environment
- Familiarity with AVID
Preferred Qualifications:•Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year
•Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
•Familiar with both AVID and Adobe Premiere Pro Editing platforms
Additional Information:•All students must possess unrestricted work authorization
•All students must be at least 18 years old
•You must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program in order to qualify for this internship.
•All candidates must be available from May/June to August/September
•All candidates must be willing to work full-time 40 hours/week
•All students must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
