Job Summary:

We are ABC News Marketing & Creative, and we produce marketing assets for ABC News, including on-air promos, sizzle reels, and all other marketing assets for ABC News.


A day in the life…

You would support and contribute to the daily production of ABC News Marketing & Creative, including on-air network news promos, internal sizzle presentations, radio promos, show elements, etc.

Some responsibilities include…
  • Working with our production team on critical and timely areas of production day-to-day - often minute-to-minute
  • Researching, screening, assembling, editing, and organizing video and graphic assets in multiple formats
  • Helping coordinate highly critical “day of air” responsibilities, interfacing with all ABC News programs and all across Disney ABC Television
  • Assisting our group with detailed record keeping, interaction with voice–over talent and a wide array of cross functions

Basic Qualifications:

What you bring to the role…
  • Energy, ambition, detail-driven, creative, someone who can hit the ground running
  • Ability to perform detail-oriented work under very rigid deadlines
  • Experience editing, and working in television or film production environment
  • Familiarity with AVID

Preferred Qualifications:

•Undergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year
•Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
•Familiar with both AVID and Adobe Premiere Pro Editing platforms

Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • At the time of application, must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class – OR – be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months - OR - be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Must be willing to relocate to the New York City area and provide your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Program Dates
  • Must be available from May/June to August/September
  • Must be willing to work 40 hours/week
