Disney Theatrical Group is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and experienced guides for the Behind the Magic tour.
Our Behind the Magic tour takes groups of all ages inside the New Amsterdam Theatre. They discover the art and architecture of this landmark Broadway theatre built in 1903, once home to the legendary Ziegfeld Follies, and explore the history and magic of Disney Theatrical Productions by getting up-close and personal with original props, costumes and set pieces.
Part-time tour guides are needed to lead our guests through this one hour presentation. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, is a must. Hours per week will vary depending on tour bookings.
The ideal guide will have an outgoing personality, great communication skills, and, most importantly, have a love for history and theater. Performance experience or actor training is a plus but all candidates must be able to speak to and interact with individuals and groups of various ages and backgrounds. Candidates should also have at least one year experience in customer service or hospitality.
DTG is committed to providing the highest quality opportunities for the widest, most diverse group of talented professionals throughout their career trajectory. We encourage applications from individuals whose backgrounds are currently underrepresented in the field of theater, inclusive of race, ethnicity, class, gender identity or expression, ability, and sexual orientation.
