Responsibilities:Writers work closely with segment producers and the booking team to develop on air copy for the anchors.
Conduct research and pre-interviews on guests and segment topics.
Write succinct scripts to meet segment length restrictions.
Basic Qualifications:Be able to work with producers and booking team to turn anchor copy quickly.
Write accurate and succinct scripts meeting strict segment length requirements.
Knowledge and/or use of Inews.
Preferred Qualifications:Member of the WGA.
Required EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
