Job Summary:

Disney Streaming is part of the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) group within the Walt Disney Company. The B2B2C Partner Program Management team is a centralized group within the Disney Streaming Technology organization focused on delivering complex technical initiatives that directly fulfill DMED products such as Disney+, ESPN+, Hulu, and Star+ to Disney’s global OEM device partners, and international telco and MVPD partners.
The Principal Enterprise Program Manager, Partnerships leads the technical program delivery of Disney’s streaming products to a large roster of domestic and international B2B2C partners. The cross-functional role requires a combination of technical acumen, program management, project management, and risk management. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, relationship builder and leader who will also help shape the team as we continue to evolve, grow, and partner with our world-class engineering and product organizations.


  • Utilize your expertise to manage (at a program level) the development and release of applications built for Partner supported platforms like set top boxes and Smart TVs, as well as API integrations supporting billing and content catalog distribution.
  • The ideal candidate has a keen interest in the streaming domain, a learning / growth mindset, and experience being a team leader
  • Build strategic and trusted partnerships with our team leads from the Technical Account Management Team, Partner Integration Engineering Team, Engineering Technical Project Managers, as well as the Device & Distribution Product teams, ensuring alignment with dynamic and evolving business needs
  • Manage risks, milestones and associated deliverables, report on program progress,
  • Provide escalation management, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, and balance business needs with technical constraints in order to provide timely updates on project health to a cross-functional executive audience of technical, business, and operations stakeholders
  • Identify areas of improvement and work to establish processes aiming at improving internal efficiency and Partner service integration experience

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven track record managing complex technical programs in distributed application models with partner devices, such as set top boxes, API integrations, customer purchasing journeys.
  • Experience in application development kits (ADK) integration is a plus
  • Good understanding of cloud based backend, middleware and front-end environment
  • Experience working with QA teams facilitating, removing blockers and reviewing test results readout
  • Account management, client service, and/or management consulting experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years practical experience in a technical role, preferably within streaming media.
  • Accustomed to working with third-party integrations that involve both external and internal dependencies.
  • Program Lifecycle Disciplines: Strong knowledge of the integrated systems lifecycle development utilizing different – and sometimes – multiple development models (e.g., agile, waterfall, hybrid, etc.).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; specifically the ability to synthesize product requirements into engineering deliverables, and to translate program information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with changing specifications and standards, and leading teams to deliver through ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated experience using JIRA and project or product management tools.
  • Distinctive analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced foresight capabilities related to anticipating and managing issues, and adhering to program deadlines.
  • Understands the importance of scaling support services in alignment with program needs with the ability to implement and execute applicable positive changes.
  • Ability to utilize lessons learned and prior experience to execute on both a strategic and tactical level.
  • Driven to continually enhance relationships and partnerships within the organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
