This is a Project position and employment will continue on this Project (at the company’s sole discretion), and in no event shall extend past the completion of the Project.
Responsibilities:Specific Responsibilities include pitching story ideas, arranging shoots, field producing, scripting, booking characters/experts, and producing in the edit room. Candidates must exhibit superior news judgment, be creative and resourceful in the field, and have extensive reporting and producing experience. They need to be able to visualize their hours in creative ways to propel the narratives. They must exhibit outstanding writing and editing skills, the ability to balance multiple projects, and possess effective communication skills. Candidates must be experienced, professional self-starters who are able to craft high-end pieces under intense pressure against a deadline. Candidates may be expected to travel on short notice. Some proficiency with shooting and some editing is expected.
Basic Qualifications:Work Experience: Minimum 5 years. Non-Technical Skills: Multitasking, strong writing, strong organizational skills, attention to detail.
Required EducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
