Disney Theatrical Group, the leader in live family entertainment is in search of a Resident Director for THE LION KING North American Tour. The duties include but are not limited to: executing and implementing the instructions of the Production’s Director and Associate Director; performing all services required by Producer to maintain the overall artistic quality of the Production’s direction, including attending and supervising audition, understudy, and cast replacement rehearsals and attending technical rehearsals; overseeing or assisting with directorial-related issues for special events (i.e. marketing, press & sales events) for The Lion King. To be considered candidates must be willing to relocate to engagement cities effective immediately.
Candidates should be team players with strong communication skills. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in directing are essential.
