This position will support all activities involved in selling and servicing the Prime, Daytime, syndication News and Late Night for both television and digital.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Account Executives in the development of sales proposals, booking contracts and addressing any post evaluation details required by specific clients
  • Pull and communicate weekly flowcharts to clients
  • Track client delivery and input ADUs for Linear and Digital as necessary
  • Assist clients with move requests
  • Maintain contracts and account activity for advertisers
  • Prepare research and other sales related reports and media kits as needed
  • Communicate with client and traffic to ensure the proper airing of the schedule
  • Resolve scheduling and billing discrepancies for Linear and Digital
  • Participate develop a rapport with client and agency contacts plus develop an understanding of the sales and talking points of the network and the marketing/media needs of the advertiser/agencies
  • Provide outstanding internal and external client service
  • Ability to form and continue key internal and external client relationships
  • Attend team meetings and digital pacing calls
  • Assist in entering sales proposals into our systems
  • Directly liaise with agency contacts to gather digital insertion orders, brand allocations, communicate and share creative specifications, and request 3rd party log-ins. Assists Account Management to track down late or missing creative or log-ins.
  • Coordinate and collaborate internally to ensure successful launch, execution, and delivery of campaigns
  • Post-campaign launch regularly monitor campaign and gather screenshots and assets for drafts recap deck.
  • Active participant in AE team pacing calls to review campaigns. Responsible for updating the internal ad system to reflect flighting, optimization, or any other changes made during campaign and sending post-campaign pacing call report that recaps next steps.
  • Working knowledge of media plan building and ability to create a strategy plan. Acts as back-up support for the Sales Planner.
  • Assist Account Executive and Sales Planner with new business prospecting, client and competitive research, creation of client updates and sales proposals/presentations
  • Be knowledgeable of all appropriate software related to our operation; Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal business hours in the event of deadlines or projects
  • Manage heavy phone volume on behalf of Sales team
  • Other admin support duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in client services and sales
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in broadcast at an advertiser, agency, or network
  • Proficient in Outlook (create/edit emails and appointments), Word (create/edit documents), Excel (create/edit documents) and Power Point (create/edit presentations).
  • Previous experience with SAP
  • Previous experience with creating expense reports and coordinating travel

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
