The Sales Coordinator provides overall sales support to the Disney Publishing Group sales and account planning teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with launch meeting and sales conference event planning, note-taking, and follow-up.

  • Organize, plan, and own invite distributions for team or sales-led events.

  • Manage account requests for sales assets.

  • Pull catalog lists or build online catalog collections on request. 

  • Work with various internal departments to meet sales needs in a timely manner.

  • Access and distribute materials as needed via digital send and mailings to sales teams and customers. 

  • Run sales reports from distributor’s systems as requested.

  • Formulate sales data (Excel) for presentation purposes.

  • Track account coop requests and approvals.

  • Pay department invoices as needed.

  • Compose promotional offer letters and build templates.

  • Archive sales recaps and reporting in digital folders.

  • Create/track title calendar and estimates versus goals.

  • Understand basic distribution process to submit orders or assist in troubleshooting orders, tracking, etc.

  • Assist the Sales team as needed including accessing creative materials and monitoring production details.

  • Act as a liaison to customers while the Account Executives are away from the office.

  • Track product orders and contracts.

  • Handle highly confidential, sensitive information on behalf of a publicly traded company.

Skills Required

  • 1+ years in a sales support or publishing support role.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel…)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all professional levels.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability to multi-task deadlines and deliverables.

  • Proven organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills. 

  • Ability to lift books (up to 30 lbs.)

The hiring range for this position is $39,442.00-$52,910.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
