Job Summary:ABC News Good Morning America is looking for a Segment Producer.The ideal candidate will have TV experience including but not limited to booking, field producing, live shot producing and control room experience.
Responsibilities:Candidate will be required to work a staggered schedule that can include weekends and late nights. Responsibilities will include booking breaking news stories and news of day guests, prepping guests in the control room before a segment, live producing segments in studio, pitching stories regularly and vetting them thoroughly. In addition to long hours there will be some travel involved as needed.
- Strong editorial judgment is a must along with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Knowledge of shooting on DV cams, using FTP files, Skype and various social media outlets are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
