The Senior Financial Analyst (Project Hire) assists with forecasting, planning, business analysis and reporting related to Disney Theatrical Group’s domestic and international productions. The position also offers analytical support for operational/performance analysis as needed.

Responsibilities

Reporting - Produce weekly sales reporting for domestic and international shows. Consolidate results and performance metrics for distribution to all stakeholders. Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc sales, marketing, and finance requests from various internal Disney partners.

Financial Management – Provide ongoing analytical support. Monitor the financial performance of all shows and help update financial models used in projections. Thoroughly understand, drive/develop, and continuously monitor key value drivers via business partnership with the Production/Sales/Marketing/Touring teams to ensure financial/operational efficiencies.

Annual Operating Plan - Assist with the production of Annual Operating Plan (Budget). Coordinate with all levels of the organization via communication of timelines and deliverables. Execute review process and provide quality control. Prepare analyses and presentations to enhance understanding of key business variables. Ensure accurate consolidation of plan components and oversee submission to Studio/Corporate.

Forecasting - Forecast profitability for productions for Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (budget), and Five Year Plan. Initiate process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and insights. Provide thorough assessment of risks and opportunities.
