We are looking for a senior product manager to advance our Subscription and Billing commerce capabilities.  As part of the rapidly growing Commerce Product team, you will lead key aspects of our commerce experiences within our platform group by setting vision, goals and objectives, and drive day-to-day optimization of our millions of transactions. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish product strategy for features that enable core commerce platform capabilities, including subscription, invoicing, and recurring billing services, powering experiences across Disney+, ESPN+, Star+, and Hulu

  • Manage cross functional stakeholders across multiple teams including product, engineering, business, legal, data & analytics, localization, and more

  • Develop a product roadmap that accomplishes business/customer goals and aligns with the team charter

  • Translate inputs and business needs into detailed product requirements documents and user stories for engineering teams to execute

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the subscription and billing space

Basic Qualifications

  • You have at least 7+ years of product management experience

  • You have experience using JIRA and other product and project management tools

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • You're an analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • You have an ability to make quick decisions to solve complex technical and operational challenges

  • You're familiar with working on projects with distributed teams, making use of technology and process to overcome the challenges of working with remote staff

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or technical degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have experience working on a subscription product

  • You have experience working with an internationally distributed digital product

  • You have familiarity with the streaming video industry and understand the different value propositions that all the market leaders offer their customers

  • You excel at coordinating multiple projects at a time

  • You are comfortable in ambiguous and fast changing environments with fluctuating demands

  • You enjoy developing thoughtful and concise requirements through memos and user stories. You take pride that your name is attached to these artifacts

  • You will build relationships that help drive consensus among all required groups across the organization when trying to accomplish larger goals

  • You are comfortable with quantifying the expected business impact of features you are proposing or leading
