- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for managing and representing the office of the President, ABC Owned Television Stations (OTV), in doing so the role will plan, prioritize and manage short, mid and long term projects,  plans and organize schedules to maximize the effectiveness of the overall OTV organization.


  • Project manage President, OTV office led initiatives including project plans, issue management, milestone tracking and reporting, stakeholder coordination and resource management.

  • Manage, monitor and keep the Inside OTV SharePoint site current and accurate

  • Work closely with the President, OTV and the Executive Assistant to monitor activities, volume of incoming communication and competing priorities to ensure that opportunities are maximized and prioritized.

  • Cultivate a strong network (formal and informal) of leaders both within the DMED segment and across The Walt Disney Company

  • Assist in developing presentations, including doing the necessary research and program managing the efforts to collect the necessary data and producing the decks

  • Coordinates and facilitates leadership and other senior team meetings led by the President, OTV including agenda setting, guest coordination, notes taking, follow-ups and next steps

  • Represent / Support the President, OTV in meetings where appropriate

  • Be a role model for integrity and a champion of Diversity and Inclusion

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience including ~5 years’ experience in a similar / leadership role

  • Experience at a local television station

  • Experience in development of strategies

  • Project and program management experience with strong organizational skills

  • Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to influence without formal authority

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving through self-reliance and resourcefulness

  • Proven ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities, time management for self and others

  • Demonstrated business savvy and confidence to interface at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Demonstrated exceptional relationship and partnering skills while leveraging resources appropriately

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong existing network across multiple parts of The Walt Disney Company and familiarity with tools/processes and culture

  • People leadership experience preferred

Required Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
