Job Summary:

Direct-to-Consumer-and-International (DTCI) is Disney’s global, multiplatform media, product, technology, and distribution organization for world-class content. DTCI is comprised of Disney’s international media and direct-to-consumer businesses globally, including all Disney networks outside of the US, the ESPN+ streaming service, the upcoming Disney-branded direct-to-consumer streaming service and the Company’s ownership stake in Hulu. The DTCI Tech organization focuses on providing ground-breaking innovation and driving the strategic use and development of technology to power the DTCI business, deliver world-class products and experiences to consumers around the world. The Data Platform group within DTCI Tech, is charged with developing a consolidated data platform that supports DTCI business stakeholders with the means to access, activate and analyze all of Disney’s consumer and business data in a secure and compliant way.

The Senior Manager, Analytics Product individual is responsible for understanding key business stakeholders' needs and translating them into strategic product road maps that clearly define a strategic vision for the Analytics Product team within DTCI Data Platforms. This role specifically supports the Consumer program area, supporting Digital Media, Research, and Technology teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and grooms professional relationships with business stakeholders to understand their information-based needs and priorities
  • Leads a team of product managers, senior product managers, managers and/or senior managers, providing guidance on, and ensuring, product management best practices
  • Defines and maintains a set of strategic product roadmaps within a specific program area (i.e., DTCI Quantified)
  • Reviews and approves product requirements, ensuring these requirements align with the overall product vision stated in the strategic product roadmap
  • Promotes and ensures alignment between all relevant product and engineering teams in support of the DTCI Technology operating model
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment


Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in a product management role, specifically for business intelligence and/or analytics projects/initiatives
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years managing individuals, specifically individuals in product management roles
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills
  • Strong written documentation and presentation skills, using the Microsoft Office suite of tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with work management and documentation tools, preferably Jira and Confluence
  • Working knowledge of various business intelligence tools such as BusinessObjects, Microstrategy, Looker, Tableau, Qlikview, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a large-scale media company, specifically with Advertising Sales, Finance, and/or Research organizations

Required Education

  • Bachelors degrees in at least one of the following disciplines, or relevant work experience: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management
