Disney Ad Sales’ Revenue Management division is seeking a Sr. Manager to join our dynamic Addressable Pricing & Planning team.  This role will lead the pricing & planning as well as the activation function across Disney’s collection of brands, with a focus on the Social advertising line of business (Meta, Twitter, Snap, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) as well as assisting with the Pricing & Planning strategy for Addressable Ad Products.  We are looking for a strong candidate to bring innovative thinking, exceptional communication skills and an unwavering desire to grow and optimize our business models. Job Summary:

As a Sr. Manager, Pricing & Planning {Social & Ad Products}, you will have significant involvement in developing and executing strategies to effectively manage the pitch to pay process for Social advertising across Disney and help develop ad product strategy for all of Pricing & Planning and across Ad Sales Verticals by identifying and implementing enhancements to generate increased demand while also managing yield through effective rate management.  This role and team will partner closely with the Social Brand Solutions team, lead successful launch and delivery of all Social advertising campaigns while also forecasting and managing advertisement boosting budgets across brands ensuring both internal and external resources are used efficiently and effectively to deliver Social campaign success all the way through campaign reporting and billing.  You will partner with Sales Planning Specialists and Addressable Solutions team to provide pricing, guidance and solutions pertaining to the use of Addressable Ad Products within media plans.

Reporting into the Director of Pricing & Planning, you will manage a multi-regional team of Paid Media Managers; this includes stewarding overall team performance towards departmental revenue targets.  This is a highly cross-functional role, which partners with senior leaders across Sales verticals, Brand Solutions, Ad Partnerships, and Addressable Solutions teams to develop sales models, create operational efficiencies, and improve speed-to-market. You will oversee the process for all paid social campaigns from setting platform budgets to determining the appropriate amounts to invoice clients.  The right person for this role must be very detail-oriented, a strong communicator, a problem-solver, and is adept at building & maintaining relationships across business divisions. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

Lead a multi-regional team of Paid Media Managers across the Social line of business covering all Disney Content Brands, all Social Platforms (Meta, Twitter, Snap, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), and servicing multiple Ad Sales Verticals (Agency, Category, Local).

Help to develop and execute pricing models, rate cards, and business terms across Social deal types, managing the dynamic between business terms we control and those which we must negotiate with our Social Platform partners.

Provide pricing guidance, approve space and develop solutions as it relates to the use of Addressable Ad Products. 

Build best practices and act as an escalation point for the launch and execution of Paid Social campaigns from order to delivery in full and ultimately payment. Onboard new hires and build educational materials across Pricing & Planning.

Assist in forecasting paid social budgets for each individual Disney content brand and managing the allocation of those resources to insure relevant social campaigns are fulfilled according to deal terms.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 7+ years working in a digital advertising or social media marketing capacity, with a focus on yield, reporting and analytics preferred

  • At least 3 years of experience managing ad campaigns across various Social platforms and managing paid social budgets towards delivery in full

  • At least 3 years digital management experience, leading, managing and developing high-performance teams

  • Deep expertise working within an ad sales organization

  • Significant media-math/financial acumen, with the ability to be very hands-on in developing tools and processes with a focus on social media analysis and performance tracking

  • A strong knowledge of social media ad products, capabilities, philosophies, and drawbacks

  • Proven ability to work across teams & navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments

  • Ability to present complicated concepts and ideas in an easy-to-understand format

  • Experience working with social platforms and APIs

  • Experienced Excel & PowerPoint user

  • Proactive and engaging, with a positive approach towards collaboration and problem-solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured, and dynamic environment
