Job Summary:

Be part of an exciting, high business impact, multi-year project to unify advertising sales platforms to support multiple business segments within The Walt Disney Company. The Senior Product Manager on the Ad Platforms Product Management team is responsible for delivering advertising software to support Disney Ad Sales operations. The role owns the inception, creation and maintenance of all business requirements that accurately define the customer’s business need, enabling the development team to create a quality solution.

The primary objective of this role is to partner and collaborate with the television and advanced TV business to accurately document all relevant processes, and translate the information into graphical and textual representations for the technology team. The Senior Product Manager will be the face of the technology team with the business partners and will participate in the functional certification of all system components to ensure accuracy and adherence to the business requirements documentation.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining, managing, and delivering one or more strategic advertising sales application products to support Disney Advertising Sales business community. This will be accomplished through business process review, strategic product analysis, feature definition, prioritization & product release planning for custom software development and/or external vendor partnerships.

As part of the Ad Product team, you will be part of a fast paced environment interacting with software engineering, design and the Disney Ad Sales business stakeholders building world-class software. Knowledge of the television ad sales ecosystem, or advertising agency media buying product experience is required for the transformation into a digitally convergent world.



  • Typically has 8 – 10 years total business experience and 3 to 6+ years in the aforementioned subject matter
  • Effectively communicates highly complex information with both internal and external contacts at a variety of organizational levels.
  • Proven breadth and depth of Product Management expertise who can work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Anticipates and avoids common problems; solves problems quickly and independently.
  • Contributes to process improvements by recommending system improvements and enhancements.
  • Possess solid understanding of Project management and Software Development lifecycle process.
  • Some travel required
  • Advanced knowledge of the agile software development methodology and supporting ceremonies.
  • Formal Product Management training and/or certification.
