Job Summary:

WABC-TV, the ABC-owned station in New York City, has an opening for Vice President of Community Relations.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing multi-platform media campaigns to support the various communities that comprise the Channel 7 service area of greater New York,
  • Providing guidance to station leadership to help maintain WABC’s reputation as the leading community-based station in the market,
  • Working with sales and news teams to provide cause-related campaigns
  • Being the chief liaison between the station and leading non-profit organizations in New York.


Basic Qualifications:

Successful candidates should have public service experience in a large media organization.
