The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore maintenance role opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Thursday, June 15th, 2023, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Come talk with our recruitment team and learn more about our FOS Maintenance Teams who provide excellent service and support to all of Walt Disney World! This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for maintenance roles. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to apply and interview on site. Some candidates may even be hired on-the-spot!

Responsibilities:
The Walt Disney World® Resort is searching for talented Maintenance Technicians who are looking to push themselves to the next level in their career with our FOS Team. Our first-class shops put efficiency, productivity, and concern for the safety of our technicians’ front-and-center. As a seasoned technician, you know what it’s like to work in a shop or in the field, but using your skills at Disney is a completely unique experience.Picture yourself where you would have the opportunity to:

Basic Qualifications:
- Journeyman license
- Experience working on/around high-efficiency equipment (i.e. Lasers, Xenon Lamps)
- Experience with animation troubleshooting and repair
- Ride-control systems troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of theatrical lighting equipment
- Troubleshooting and repairing RF circuits, power supplies, computer-circuit cards
- An understanding of fiber optic network principles
- Knowledge of high and low voltage with an understanding of the National Electric Code
Area Ride & Show Technician (Electronic Tech)
The Area Ride and Show Technician is more than just a modern-day electronic technician. They respond to power outages, work with the newest in animation and electronic technology. They respond to trouble tickets within a theme park setting. The Area Ride and Show Technician is expected to have a working knowledge of various electrical and electronic devices, audio and video, projection, along with troubleshooting equipment. They should have experience working with PLCs, VFDs and voltage up to 600v.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman license
