The starting rate for this role is $16.76/hour


As a CNC Specialist, you will be required to create part geometry from blueprints, write and produce parts within print specifications in a timely manner. Our CNC Specialists are Walt Disney World Cast Members, which means they’re part of the team that helps people create memories that last a lifetime. Individuals in this role may work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be able to read blueprints
  • Must be capable of using Mazak Mazatrol control
  • Must have proven ability to set up and machine parts on CNC mills/lathes
  • Must have strong shop math skills and be capable of running multiple machines
  • Must have the ability to recognize and suggest improvements to machining methods
  • Capable of working at a consistent pace and the ability to meet (or exceed) performance expectations
  • Cast Members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in CNC Boring Mill, machining Castings and Weldments, Mazak Vertical and Horizontal Mills, CNC Okuma Mills and Lathes and programming experience with SolidWorks and Master Cam.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Candidates must have full availability to work any day/any shift
