About the Role & Program
The role supports the Facilities team at the Disney Central Reservation Center in Orlando, Florida. The selected candidate will coordinate and execute strategies to keep the location show ready for Cast and leaders! Aid in the planning and execution of small to medium-scale projects as well as day-to-day responsibilities for maintaining the building and assisting other areas as needed.
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from June 2025 - January 2026.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and complete daily facility operational requirements for Disney Central in Orlando and the surrounding grounds, a 96,000-square-foot facility with a population of approximately 1,200 residents. Responsibilities include:
- Project assistant for small to medium-sized projects; guiding internal and external partners and ensuring that the quality of work is in compliance with client expectations
- Acting on written and verbal requests from and collaborating with all levels of Cast including Executive, Senior Leaders, and hourly Cast
- Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure problems with workstations and offices
- Complete a heavy volume of daily tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring the facility meets or exceeds Safety and Show Quality standards
- Identify areas for continuous improvement, propose solutions, and coordinate implementation while assessing specific issues and research technical products and/or providers to provide solutions for workplace challenges
- Complete all required Company training as assigned
Require Qualifications & Skills
- Possess a valid US Driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency within a Microsoft Windows environment
- Ability to use sound judgment and decision-making skills
- Possess a positive demeanor with the ability to be flexible
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs., climb a ladder and bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to handle duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Facilities Management, Property Management, and/or Fleet Management
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro and/or Microsoft Visio
- Knowledgeable about and passion for Walt Disney World® Resort
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Business, Communications, or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
