Responsibilities:
- Management of planning, organization, and execution of sleeping room and/or event agreements
- Drive additional revenue through sales of new events and enhancements
- Handle basic Client requests and answer questions through pre-arrival planning, onsite, and post stay with regards to food & beverage, admissions, function space, billing, Resorts, Theme Parks, event venues, entertainment, audio/visual, etc.
- Present ideas, expectations, and accurate information in a concise, well-organized manner, including running effective meetings
- Timely and accurate completion of activities / tasks
- Maintain TWDC standards of safety, professional and personal
- Represent TWDC with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Create ways to surprise and delight our Guests, and grow repeat business
- Other projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of three-years management experience in Food & Beverage, Group Markets, Catering / Banquets, Resorts Rooms, Events, or similar
- Flexibility in scheduling as Event Services is a seven day a week including holidays, 24 hour a day commitment
- Ability to respond, problem solve, and resolve inquiries in a high volume, fast paced environment
- The organizational skills to work on many Groups at the same time without missing the small details
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written
- Focus on delivering exceptional Guest Service
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationship with Clients, Cast Members, and partners
- Collaborate with key internal partners to problem-solve for unique client needs including non-traditional solutions
- Coaching and Leadership skills
- Computer proficiency within a Windows environment
- Willingness to learn additional new and/or evolving software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Siebel and DSCS Systems
- Current or recent Event Services or Catering & Convention Services Management experience
- Knowledgeable of all WDW Resort and Park event venues
- Completion of CMP Certification with a passing score
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
