Job Summary:

The WDW Revenue Planning and Forecasting team leverages deep understanding of Guest demographics and behaviors, trends, pricing strategies, and marketing plans to support the strategic direction and key projects for Walt Disney World (WDW).

We are seeking an experienced leader as Manager, Revenue Planning/Forecasting. The role leads developing long-term and annual operating plans for Merchandise, Disney Springs, and Premium Services revenue, finding and communicating data-driven insights, evaluating proposed strategic initiatives and capital investments, and measuring revenue growth initiatives for WDW businesses. This work requires partnership with many areas across the company such as Operations, LOB, Pricing, Industrial Engineering, Consumer Insights, Finance, and Commercial teams. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Merchandise and Food & Beverage Planning/Forecasting and leads a team of analysts.

A strong focus on leadership, team development, and collaboration is critical in this role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to leverage resources and partnerships to produce high quality work product. This individual should demonstrate strong analytical skills and be detail-oriented with a natural curiosity to proactively identify, evaluate, and communicate business performance using data-driven insights for Executive leaders. We are seeking a self-starter with a track record of building high-performing teams, pursuing continuous improvement, and the ability to tackle multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.


  • Lead team responsible for the development of revenue forecasts including long-term monthly forecasts, annual operating plans, and five-year plans
  • Build high team morale and group commitment. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to a high-performing team
  • Manage multiple tasks, strategically prioritize high-impact activities, and establish deadlines and work plans to achieve end goals
  • Exercise strong conceptual thinking skills – must be able to understand broad concepts, articulate linkages/gaps, and recommend tactics/strategies that enable a vision
  • Collaborate and partner with other areas across the company to develop recommendations and influence decision making
  • Translate business performance drivers and metrics into insightful analysis and recommendations for Executive Leadership
  • Lead the effort in defining/evolving the work product (e.g., decks, memos, emails, forecasting models) for the team, inspiring the pursuit of continuous improvement in all work product
  • Understand and evaluate new business initiatives to provide strategic direction for the business
  • Anticipate next steps, future opportunities, and/or future challenges and take appropriate action to address them (be solution-oriented)
  • Demonstrate passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion, including inviting diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive work environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in statistical or financial analysis
  • Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams, developing talent, building morale, and inspiring and aligning the team around a clear, achievable vision
  • Experience with Walt Disney Parks & Resorts forecasting and planning processes
  • Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and pride in delivering quality results and understanding business impacts
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills in financial forecasting and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to synthesize financial information into a concise story, then develop and present fact-based insights and recommendations to various levels of leadership
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to utilize data visualization techniques to transform complex ideas into an easily shared story for Executive leaders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Self-starter with natural curiosity and the ability to deal with ambiguity

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or another quantitative field

Preferred Education

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
