Job Summary:


As a member of the Disney Gift Card Services (DGCS) Program Development team, the Project Integration Manager is accountable for leading the successful delivery of products and solutions supporting a variety of Disney-branded stored value products. Additionally, the Project Integration Manager is responsible for sustainment activities including but not limited to managing system access and audits, testing efforts, and troubleshooting of operational and technical issues related to Disney-branded stored value products.

The Project Integration Manager will develop productive partnerships with key business stakeholders, technical team members, and external partners. You will work with technical and operational teams as well as leadership at all levels to define and prioritize the DGCS program development roadmap. You will drive each project from ideation through execution while identifying and removing roadblocks to ensure timely delivery. Your flexibility will allow you to manage a wide portfolio of concurrently active projects. This role will require critical thinking abilities in order to apply cross-functional knowledge to creative solutioning exercises. You will assist in bringing awareness of the products and services offered by Disney Gift Card Services to various areas within The Walt Disney Company and brainstorm ideas to meet business needs and initiatives. The result of your work will be successful maintenance of the existing program as well as the delivery of uniquely Disney products, which are strategically beneficial for The Walt Disney Company and our Guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a variety of concurrent programs applying a structured methodology and project management approach
  • Assist in managing the project management and troubleshooting/sustainment functions for the Disney Gift Card program
  • Act as product owner, working with technical leads to translate project needs into specific and actionable requirements and user stories, participate in the estimation of work efforts through grooming sessions, define milestones, manage resources, and lead testing/certification processes
  • Track progress, understand dependencies, evaluate risks, and influence partners to ensure timely delivery of work
  • Tailor communications to varying levels of leadership, operational, business, and technical stakeholders
  • Drive prioritization to maximize the benefit for the business by managing the backlog of work with our technology partners
  • Strong business process definition capabilities, including the ability to visually capture process flows, in order to optimize existing and future processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Oversee content management for aspects of multiple gift card platforms and the creation and sustainment of digital email templates
  • Track and benchmark industry trends in order to influence partners to “push the boundary” of what is possible utilizing stored value products
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a collaborative team environment
  • Learn quickly, be proactive, and be an owner for broad tracks of work
  • Strong written, visual, and oral communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Be exceptionally inquisitive and curious to support root cause solutioning
  • Establish collaborative relationships with team members and all levels of leadership across the organization
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support for members of the Program Development team as well as other internal and external partners

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience managing technical projects
  • Experience providing operation and technical support and/ or working with technical teams/partners in leadership roles
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges and risks
  • Proven experience writing and executing technical test scripts in support of UAT/BAT efforts is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software
  • Ability to analyze metrics to create stories depicting product performances and user experiences to assist in making strategic decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years working in agile development
  • Proven familiarity/understanding of the retail Gift Card/Pre-Paid/Stored Value Product industry
  • Up to date with consumer payment trends
  • Basic understanding of Public/Private APIs and experience executing JSON messaging
  • Ability to translate UI requirements into wireframes/mockups
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Planner, monday.com, JIRA, Confluence and/or other project management software

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a focus on Business, Project Management or Information Technology

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
