Job Summary:

The Disney Signature Experiences (DSE) Compliance Specialist coordinates the technical remediation of security findings within the DSE Technology & Digital portfolio. This role is responsible for the prioritization of vulnerabilities, communication of the latest guidelines, knowledge of compliance subject matter and influencing the timely delivery and scheduling of appropriate resolutions across Disney Signature Experiences. Additionally, they are responsible for the report-out of vulnerability findings and status to leadership.

Expected Discretion:
Minimal supervision. Daily collaboration with various Digital & Technology teams to identify and remediate cyber security vulnerabilities and therefore minimal authority or discretion by this role is required. Daily exposure to executives for report-outs and the latest security & compliance guidelines/trends.

Expected Skills:
Understanding of cybersecurity, application development and technology platform operations. Coordination skills, detail oriented and project management. Ability to articulate complex technical concepts into easy to understand requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​​​​​Manage day-to-day vulnerability management in support of incoming findings by working closely with the appropriate teams to ensure a solid understanding and timely resolution.
  • Project Management of Security & Compliance initiatives. Build, communicate, maintain, and drive project plans to aid in the remediation of findings, or projects that support the Security & Compliance area. Serve as a coordinator and partner to app owners, Solutions Engineers, leadership, contractors, and any necessary stakeholders within the project space. Keep project plans updated, communicate plans proactively, and follow through on plans until completion.
  • Develop strong relationships across the DSE Digital & Technology organization and leverage those relationships to execute against Security & Compliance guidelines, negotiating priorities while driving through resolution.
  • Support DSE leadership in executing against Security & Compliance project initiatives such as Protecting Personal Data and PCI/SOX Audits.
  • Act as primary liaison between Disney Security & Compliance teams and the DSE Technology & Digital organization and provides subject matter expertise as applicable.
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders of various levels across Technology & Digital and broader Disney organization through various mediums (ie. presentations, email, informal al meetings).

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prefer CISSP certification, or similar

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology related field, or successful completion of Cybersecurity program
