Job Summary:

The Textile Services Sr. Textile Services Specialist provides outstanding customer service to Walt Disney World Resort Housekeeping and F&B Operations. You will ensure that Walt Disney's quality standards are met in the processing of linen, ensuring guests are presented with the highest quality standard of linen in their stay. Additionally, you will partner with Textile Services Operations to support process improvement tasks focused on increasing efficiency and productivity across plant operations.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities/You Will

  • Establish operating procedures and standards to develop a Quality program that ensures a high-quality service with minimal waste and loss.
  • Perform ongoing sampling and auditing of incoming new linen. Providing reports and feedback to the suppliers regarding their performance and compliance.
  • Perform random samples of discarded and processed linen, with a focus on compliance and trend identification.
  • Validate equipment-driven defects, the cause and implement corrective action plans
  • Train hourly Cast Members in Quality related procedures.
  • Lead data collection process focused on accuracy.
  • Complete fabric and new product testing providing direction to plant operations.
  • Implement new product processing standards, communications, and problem resolution in a collaborative effort working with produce owners.
  • Recommend procedural and operational changes to superiors.
  • Attend Fabric Meeting and implement process recommendations.
  • Align behavior with the needs, priorities, and our goals.
  • Monitor presentation and provide suggestions for improved folds, cart presentation, and linen look.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Guest /customer service skills.
  • Computer and online order management experience.
  • Facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated team-oriented working skills in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in Quality related tasks or background in Linen processing
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability present ideas in user-friendly language
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead without authority

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
