Responsibilities:•Assumes responsibility for the effective support for all Title Administrator activities.
•Reviews Title Packets to ensure accuracy and to identify/report trends.
•"Perfect" received Titles by updating the information to include Partners FCU as lien holder.
•Prepare tax, title and vehicle registration documents for the appropriate state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and submit weekly.
•Verify state DMV's have recorded Partners FCU as lien holder and that Members personal information is accurate.
•Tracks down missing auto titles or missing documentation in order to secure the title and list Partners FCU as lien holder.
•"Release" Partners FCU as the lien holder once the loan has been paid off.
•Processes Dealer, Insurance and Financial Institution payoff checks. Releases title to the appropriate entity or individual.
•Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
•Manages the Letter of Guarantee (LOG) process for total loss vehicles, which includes verifying Partners FCU is listed as lien holder, issuing LOG, confirming payment is received and releasing title to the appropriate entity or individual.
•Provides life of loan title support for Member's. Including name changes & state changes submitted to the DMV. In addition, requests paper title for legal action and to assist with the liquidation of the collateral.
•Monitors dashboard reports and queues within FDI/DealerTrack (Title Management System) and identifies trends. Resolves FDI/DealerTrack errors, requests and assigned work weekly.
•Cross-trains others to handle Title Administrator daily responsibilities.
•Ensures that the title functions are completed in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
•Assumes responsibility for maintaining professional working relations with Members and business contacts.
•Works as a liaison with State Motor Vehicle Departments (DMV’s), Title Vendors, Insurance Companies, Financial Institutions, Dealerships, Member’s & Credit Union Employees.
•Resolves (or refers) requests and problems promptly and courteously.
•Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation.
•Upholds Member confidentiality.
•Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and communication with Credit Union employees and with management.
•Provides accurate and timely outstanding titles reports to MSR's, LPCR's and their Leaders.
•Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of titles that have been outstanding for 90 days or more to management at the end of the month.
•Flags Auto Dealerships with excessive outstanding titles and works with Management to determine appropriate course of action.
•Participates in staff education and training to increase awareness of state regulations and the Credit Union's procedures.
•Assists in the creation, review and revision of title policies and procedures.
•Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
•Stays abreast of title regulations. Analyzing changes in regulatory and state requirements in relation to their impact on lien recording processing and documentation.
•Assists in the development and review of title training materials.
•Completes special projects and miscellaneous Consumer Loan Servicing (CLS) functions as required.
•Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
•Makes recommendations to improve title processing, quality and accuracy.

This role is considered on-site, which means the employee will work from a Company designated location on an ongoing basis.
