Job Summary:

  • Partner with the Commercial Director to maximise the revenue potential of new business opportunities
  • Partner with ANZ Retail Marketing Director, external marketing teams and agencies to deliver launch and sustain marketing plans and execution
  • Project manage the implementation of new projects
  • Manage the day to day needs of key stakeholders


Business Development and Analysis
  • Own and drive the expansion of the new projects
  • Project manage long lead implementation phase
  • Take learnings and identify opportunities from other Disney FBM projects around the world to strengthen local partnerships and maximise the revenue potential
  • Track financial performance and recommend tactical measures to enhance
  • Partner with the Hardlines and Softlines team to maximise our core business
  • Become a category expert (product, consumer and marketplace) through continual analysis (sales, market share, range/sku performance, competitor and retailer analysis etc.) to identify and recommend revenue opportunities
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with stakeholders, presenting performance updates and ongoing optimisation
Marketing Planning and Delivery
  • Prepare and sell in a marketing strategy, delivering large reach and awareness maximising paid, owned and earnt media channels
  • Develop a sustain marketing strategy and plan to drive ongoing top of mind, footfall and purchase conversion
  • Execute with excellence and in line with Disney guidelines
  • Foster our Franchises creative power and guidelines including all brand approvals
  • Develop and foster relationships with external and internal marketing teams including DTCI and Integrated Retail in Glendale
  • Leverage all FBM marketing learnings from international projects and deploy the local relevant elements in Australia
  • Develop a measurement framework and report back after the delivery of each campaign on the ROI
  • Management of Marketing budget

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years product/brand marketing experience
  • Retail Marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing/sales
  • Demonstrated experience in Licensing
  • Ability to work within and support a small team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management
  • Influencing Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Well versed in business planning and strong financial acumen
  • Excellent omni channel experience including digital and social
  • Excellent product sensibility across Hardlines and Softlines
  • Highly collaborative and optimistic nature
  • Capable of working independently and managing a variety of initiatives/issues simultaneously
  • Desire to work in an environment chasing growth, operating at high standards and a willingness to work hard and have fun!

Required Education

• Tertiary qualification/Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field
