Job Summary:

This role will support the Content Marketing Manager- Disney, Pixar, 20thC to deliver content campaigns through the theatrical, on platform & in-home windows to maximise Revenue and Net Contribution
  • Contribute to the delivery of marketing campaigns for Disney, Pixar, 20th C & Searchlight titles throughout the lifecycle (theatrical, on platform & in-home)
  • Support the team to determine Title/Content local strategy and creative positioning
  • P&L and commercial development & understanding, driving maximum revenue and efficiency for Studio
  • Create broader TWDC revenue opportunities through a one team/one vision approach

Responsibilities:

Champion content/titles across TWDC:
  • Develop and share product knowledge/insight with the key stakeholders to grounded collaborate on direction for each title
  • Excite and drive interest in content/product within the broader Studio team and wider TWDC where relevant, e.g. D+
  • Develop marketing collateral including presentations, updates and decks that display the local strategy for each campaign
Help to Build a business rationale for key In-home title releases:
  • Using bench-mark analysis and internal expertise build a solid business case for home entertainment targets
  • Develop with finance and sales team a realistic P&L to achieve AOP targets where feasible, ensure business approval
  • Develop and agree SKU & scheduling strategy for all product life stages
  • Work closely with broader Studio and Integrated Marketing team to develop a robust marketing budget to effectively maximise our internal resources and drive owned & earned media
  • Work closely with the D+ brand marketing eam, develop strategies to maximise on platform release opportunities
  • Work closely with the Consumer (in-Home) Sales Team, develop strategies to maximise Home Ent sales out
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing coordinator to ensure successful rollout of campaigns/releases in store and with key retailers
  • Work with Catalogue Marketing to ensure all appropriate drafting opportunities are explored
Drive Local Theatrical, on platform & In-home Marketing Campaigns:
  • Support the team to develop strategic plans for titles using global insight and local country knowledge/data where relevant & available
  • Create key marketing & creative assets to maximise the title awareness in-theatre and at retail
  • Work with the broader Studio and Integrated Marketing team to execute theatrical, on platform and in-home campaigns
With Content Marketing Manager- Disney, Pixar, 20thC, engage Media Agency in title strategy:
  • Contribute to the development of media briefs for in home releases
  • Attend briefing meetings with Media agency & respond to proposal in collaboration with the Marketing Managers across theatrical and in home
  • Work closely with Marketing Managers to drive creative direction
Brief, manage and ensure timely delivery of all campaign assets
  • All creative materials required of the paid media campaign on relevant titles/content. Support exhibition marketing team and state consultants on execution and delivery of asset requirements
  • Day-to-day management and briefing of creative agencies to deliver localised assets to spec
  • Contact for Home and Regional Offices regarding creative requirements, deadlines and approvals
  • Manage the creative advertising budgets for relevant titles/content
Provide consistent communication to key stakeholders including broader Studio & Integrated Marketing team & wider TWDC business as required:
  • Collaborate as a team to drive innovative, “best in class” campaigns which drive $ GBO and sales targets to meet budget expectations
  • Help to drive cross business strategic thinking for the Studio content with team collaboration, strong planning skills and on-going communication

Basic Qualifications:

Essential Experience
  • Basic Marketing/Entertainment experience (3+ years)
  • Experience in briefing or booking paid media
  • Proven ability to develop marketing processes using strategic analysis and frameworks
  • Solid experience in initiating and advocating cross-functional and cross-business projects, including assembling resources, defining project plan and key deliverables, obtaining buy-in and driving projects to successful completion
  • Solid experience in online social marketing and digital landscape
  • Exposure to budget management and cost control
  • Open to & efficient in admin support tasks for marketing team
  • Experience with, and knowledge of, new technology trends, digital distribution & media platforms

  • Well-rounded marketing professional with basic commercial understanding
  • Creative and innovative – challenges status quo and seeks new and better ways of doing things
  • Ability to look externally – actively seeks ‘best practice’ and assesses market and competitive activity for insights
  • Results orientated

  • Strong time management and organisational/process capabilities

  • Good communication and presentation skills - written and oral
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Advanced skills in Keynote, Excel, Word
  • Passionate about the Disney brand and the Movie industry

Required Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related discipline
  • Masters advantageous
