As Publicity Coordinator at The Walt Disney Company, you will be part of the team that manages all releases for Marvel, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, and Disney +. Our ideal person is resourceful, flexible, creative, loves a changing day, and enjoys keeping up with the admin behind the excitement. Of course, you have to love our brands as much as we do!

This is a 12 month fixed term contract with potential for long term.

You will be responsible for:

  • Support in maintaining the media databases and responding to general media enquiries

  • Assistance in PR team admin tasks including organising meeting rooms, flights and accommodation, create purchase orders, reporting, manage budget tracking activity, and whatever needs to be done on the day!

  • Implement Home Entertainment PR & Promotions campaigns and support with influencer management

  • Build creative and engaging slide decks and use these to communicate update to the wider Studio & Franchise Marketing team

  • Partner with the team to coordinate local publicity tours, premieres, and press events

  • Coordinate media screenings, including booking screenings, briefing & creating invites, distributing invites, managing RSVPs, attending screenings and seeking attendee reactions

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Film industry (or other related industry e.g. media) experience

  • Budget management experience/knowledge

  • Advanced MS/Apple skills and the creativity to build engaging slide decks

  • Ability to multi-task in a team environment with ever-changing deadlines and strict budget constraints

  • Clear and confident communication skills with the desire to learn how to present

  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proactive problem solving with the ability to examine issues from a broad perspective and anticipating impact beyond initial scope
