Job Summary:

Supporting our Home Entertainment team, the Trade Marketing Corodinator will support the strategic development of retail marketing plans that drive foot traffic, sales, and brand awareness for all assigned retail channels and follow these programs through to execution.

Responsibilities:

Retail Marketing:
  • Assist the Retail Sales & Studio Marketing teams in specific designated tasks contributing to campaign development
  • Participate in and contribute to the development of retail promotions
  • Execute retail specific promotions through their life cycle
  • Administrative work relating to all campaigns, including collating competition entries, sourcing prize packs and organising in-store events
  • Project managing creative, print production and PDQ development schedules for retail campaigns with the Retail Services Team
  • Assist in the management of retail marketing budgets
  • Preparing retail marketing presentations/briefs for Sales; 3rd parties and retail partners
  • Assist in the development of retail business plans
  • Manage internal communications of activities to key stakeholders including field sales; marketing

Relationships Management:
  • Build good working relationships with supplier/retail contacts, internal departments and other LOB’s contacts
  • Consult legal to ensure that all promotional terms and conditions adhere to legal requirements
  • Generate compelling in-store shopper stories
  • Assist in the development of the omni-channel retail marketing campaign across online; in-store and trade communications to ensure a seamless consumer experience
  • Management and ongoing maintenance of the Retail Planning Calendars, liaising with Category Managers and Marketing Managers to ensure timely compilation, circulation and maintenance
  • Researching, sourcing, collation and monitoring of competitor activity (at retail) for allocated accounts
  • Conduct post analysis for retail marketing programs as required
  • Support the Marketing Director – Studio on a project basis as requested
  • Be a “Brand Ambassador” and ensure our brand is always represented according to Brand Style Guides

Administration & Other:
  • Work with retailers to ensure pack shots are received for catalogues
  • Work with Marketing / Production to ensure timely circulation of localised trailers to external retail partners
  • Work with Retail Services Team to collate and distribute competition prize packs, POS and collateral within required timelines Where necessary take on ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as requested by Line Manager(s)

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years Marketing experience in a retail, FMCG and entertainment industry
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic and business acumen
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, can do attitude and willingness to take on projects
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Proficient computer/Internet usage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualified in Business/Commerce or Marketing
