Our combined Hulu and Disney team is looking for hardworking team players, who will thrive upon the legacy of Disney and Hulu, embrace unconventional thinking, and who are passionate about contributing to The Walt Disney Company's direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience.

As a Product Manager on the DPE Product Team you will drive the roadmap definition of our developer platform. You have demonstrated skills working both inside and outside the department to coordinate highly technical teams to deliver safe, and simple workflows for our developer community, and a reliable, highly available platform at scale for tens of millions of users.

● Work closely with the engineering managers and architects of the Developer Platform Engineering teams to define product goals and requirements

● Engage with our stakeholders - the broader engineering community - build strong relationships and to understand their current and future needs

● Support the development of detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures

● Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key blockers, and establish appropriate resolution paths

● Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning

● Minimum 3 years working with a team of engineers, designers, and other cross-functional teams, focused on outcome-based deliverables in the engagement area.

● Comfortable in a fast changing environment, with frequently changing demands, building and managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and circumstances.

● You should have a bias for action, the propensity to break down work, identify the highest value items, and iteratively deliver valuable improvements

● Effective leadership capabilities and ability to motivate a team.

● Detailed knowledge of Agile development practices and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact features at scale

● Ability to communicate with both technical and business experts.

● Experience building products in the developer tooling space

● An understanding of the fundamentals of cloud migrations and cloud ecosystems and the trade-offs between managed and unmanaged services

● Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (CS, CE, EE), business, or equivalent experience

● Experience with media technology in the live or on-demand streaming space

● Background managing platforms and tooling for internal customers

● Product or Project Management certification is a plus, but not required

The hiring range for this remote position is $116,600 to $182,100 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
