We are looking for a Lighting Concept/Matte Painting Intern who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, production excellence, collaborative mindset and passion for great filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.
The Lighting Concept/Matte Painting Intern will work and help support the Lighting & Mattes department that Creates Key Art as Reference for Overseas Vendor(s)
What you’ll do
- Maintain reference database - gather, upload, and tag reference images with search keywords
- Projection painting and matte painting support
- Support and create color keys
- Provide paint-overs, annotations, or reference as-needed to help convey notes to Overseas Vendor(s).
What we’re looking for
- Proficient in Maya and Photoshop and other 3d/2d software a plus. Detail oriented.
- Ideal candidates would have a strong background in traditional environment painting, and principles of photography. An understanding of lighting and rendering in Maya.
Required EducationCandidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or recently graduated within the past 6 months
