SUMMARY

The Viewer Experience team is seeking an Account Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to our Account Analysis team. As an Account Analyst supporting the Disney Streaming division (Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+/Star+) you will work with other data analysts, back-end services, front-end technology teams, security, product and legal teams, to solve and reduce risks related to media compliance and account security. In this role, you will contribute directly to the success of our data strategy by working on data quality, analysis, assessment, dashboard development, standardized reporting, monitoring frameworks, and holistic usage of data across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help manage and improve data models and processes. Develop new connections, creative visualizations, dashboards and reports for use by data, tech, security and product partners.
  • When leaders have strategic and tactical questions that require data insights, collect necessary data, provide thorough analysis, and build visuals to tell a concise story, with expert recommendations.
  • Deep-dive data to analyze user behavior, identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and create a shared understanding of how our subscribers are engaging with the platform.
  • React timely to business issues with supportive data analysis. Partner with specialist teams to implement resolution plans, sometimes with external partners and 3rd party vendors.
  • Assist with and create project summaries, define requirements, build action plans, track projects or program releases, and produce retrospective insights.
  • Ensure compliance policy records, and training materials are up to date. Establish new workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in a data heavy role.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in risk management/fraud or compliance roles.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and investigative skills, with the ability to evaluate risks and provide technical recommendations or solutions quickly.
  • Highly organized, with a love for data integrity, detailing requirements, strategy, and rules, (data standardization, cleansing, and validation).
  • Proficiency in professional business writing and technical reading. A proven record for researching and breaking down sophisticated issues for varied audiences.
  • A steadfast colleague, great at establishing rapport with internal and external teams.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Glyph, Google Analytics or other business analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Swagger, GitHub, or alert and monitoring data analytics tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
  • Knowledge about designated market areas, passion for streaming industry trends, and the growing internet landscape.
