We are seeking a Manager, FP&A – Original Content who will lead all forecasting efforts related to original content: annual operating plans, long-range business plans, monthly & quarterly updates and variance analysis. Our team is a critical part of managing Hulu’s original content portfolio and this person will be point person for all matters related to originals development, scheduling, budgets, breakage, scenario analysis, and efficiency of spend. The right person for this role has exceptional modelling skills, analytical skills, experience developing formal presentations for an executive-level audience, and is an outstanding communicator and team leader. Responsibilities:

  • Drive the process for the preparation, consolidation, and timely distribution of all original productions-related components of the long range plan, annual operating plans, periodic forecasts, and monthly projected financials

  • Accurately track and forecast P&L amortization, cash flow, and total commitments for all current and targeted projects

  • Continuously refine projections, analyze variances / KPI performance against expectations, and elevate insights that will enable senior leads to make fully informed business decisions

  • Coordinate with key constituents from media partners and other business units to execute long-term planning initiatives, including the development of materials appropriate for an executive audience

  • Support ad-hoc projects and other financial analyses such as deep-dives into development spend, new content verticals, scenario trade-off analyses, and other strategic initiatives

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a dedicated senior analyst

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role, including 3 years managing others

  • Superior proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and complex financial modeling

  • Strong ability to effectively communicate with both financial wizards and creative geniuses

  • Experience with original productions and/or content licensing highly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization

  • Exceptional attention to detail and passion for accurate, high-quality work

  • Ability to independently project manage and drive progress forward

  • Highly competent with utilizing data to drive the decision-making process

  • A high sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and work under pressured timelines

  • Experience in building and leading successful teams
