Job Summary:

Hulu's Marketing team is seeking a B2C marketer who will be an outstanding addition to our CRM team. As a Senior CRM Manager at Hulu, you will help execute, test, and report findings on both ad-hoc and automated trigger-based email and push marketing programs for the engagement, retention, and reacquisition programs. Using your understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools and complex data systems, you will help create and optimize customer journeys, automations, and improve our subscriber off-channel experience. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with a number of teams to execute a variety of marketing campaigns focused around using data to drive personalization and value for Hulu's subscribers. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CRM Marketing team to develop and evolve the overall email and push B2C marketing strategy ensuring alignment with Hulu’s business objectives, goals, and priorities.
  • Co-create processes and share recommendations of best practices with partnering stakeholders to create email campaigns that will ultimately increase engagement on-channel for Hulu subscribers.
  • Oversee and execute email and push campaigns from start to finish and play a key role in crafting data-driven initiatives for both engagement & retention and reacquisition efforts.
  • Propose strategies to optimize the email and push program that include continual testing of creative, copy, timing, offers, targeting, and more.
  • Manage competing projects diligently and collaborate with the team to prioritize needle-moving programs.
  • Coordinate with data teams and agencies to create audiences that target complex segmentation criteria.
  • Build hyper-targeted customer segments, execute automations, and map out customer journeys that drive engagement with relevant Hulu content and products.
  • Facilitate reports on team initiatives, testing outcomes, and email campaign performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in email and/or push marketing, preferably B2C and in an online subscription business.
  • Extensive experience with ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or other enterprise level ESPs.
  • Deep understanding of complex data systems and ability to be creative with technical limitations.
  • Extensive email and/or push deployment experience and understanding of QA processes.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design.
  • Knowledge of email and push standard methodologies and deliverability.
  • Superior project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide strategic recommendations motivated by data.
  • Excellent teammate with the ability to bring creative ideas to the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, adapt and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, ability to work with a team to drive projects to completion, and penchant for solving problems.
  • A love for all things television.
