Job Summary:

Hulu's Content Partnerships team is seeking a VP, Content Scheduling and Prioritization who will be an outstanding team lead for our growing scheduling department.  In this role, you will schedule, prioritize, and optimize the best of Hulu's content across the organization to increase subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.  We are seeking an intellectually curious innovator who demonstrates a high level of independent thinking, extreme attention to detail, and loves to resolve a wide range of issues in creative and collaborative ways.   • Formulate and drive the holistic scheduling and content prioritization strategy across all of Hulu’s content categories (originals, exclusives, licensed) and genres (TV, film, Kids, anime, local language) in partnership with Senior Executives across the organization to collectively ensure the steady release of titles that showcase the depth, breadth, and exclusivity of content Hulu has to offer
  • Manage internal communications and strategic alignment across Content, Marketing, Corporate Communications/PR as well as the other Disney Streaming Services, Networks, and Studios in order to collectively amplify the company’s content offering
  • Manage a team that uses market and behavior data along with audience research to drive data and analytics to determine effective scheduling strategies and release cadences for original and licensed titles, identify scheduling gaps and audience segment opportunities
  • Collectively track the competitive marketplace and industry trends, new subscriber acquisition/brand/content strategies, and work cross-functionally to continuously optimize and recommend content priorities and monitor performance
  • Guide shows from greenlight to air with a strong understanding of creative, production, post, marketing, financial and localization implications


  • Relevant work experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities of this role, including deep first-hand experience of content windowing across linear and streaming, and an understanding for how the industry is changing
  • Encyclopedic knowledge/passion for all types of content and audiences, particularly how to serve diverse audiences
  • "Graduate-level" skill in quantitative analysis and data-driven storytelling
  • Strong evidence of effective verbal and written communication
  • Great business judgment, proven strategic thinking, and demonstrated consensus building skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and process management
  • Ability to quickly get up-to-speed and thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently, often with little supervision or lack of established process


  • MBA preferred
  • Fluency in a foreign language
  • Experience guiding standalone stakeholder teams into a collaborative decision-making environment
