The coordinator will be involved in all film productions the company coproduces and/or distributes in Brazil, ensuring that all internal process are met, controlling the status of each project and doing procedures before Ancine, specially related to the use of Ancine funds. This role will work with the Film Production manager in Brazil on overseeing the development, production and post-production for feature films and evaluating scripts and projects. The position will also work closely with Legal, Marketing and Sales.
1. Ensure compliance with internal and external procedures related to all production steps. 2. Control of Disney/Fox’s Ancine funds, including control of expiration dates to avoid losses due to unallocated amounts, procedures before Ancine for allocations and liberation of such funds, prepare a monthly basis status and have an allocation calendar for each project.
3. Control project status and timelines from conception through launch. 4. Supports overseeing development, pre-production, production and post-production, including key-points analysis and approval, such as script, director, casting, and editing.
5. Coordinate the material deliveries for releasing films on theatrical and other medias/territories, for example home video, TV and VOD.
Technical / specific expertise: Script analysis is a plus
Other: Awareness of local content
Minimum: Degree in Broadcasting, Cinema or Communications.
Ideal: Major in Film production
Microsoft Office : Advanced
