Job Summary:

Successfully lead the sales team and achieve the sales objectives for each business unit via strategic commercial opportunities while respecting corporate policies in order to develop a strong client portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a positive leader to create a sustainable winning culture
  • Grow ad sales revenue and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage and implement all commercial processes by focusing on generating efficiencies and increasing revenue
  • Report, analyze and project media revenue across all platforms
  • Provide local strategy for all commercial opportunities within the Walt Disney Company portfolio
  • Work to develop internal partnerships with other key functional disciplines
  • Analyze results achieved and take action to optimize performance
  • Turn strategy into action
  • Develop accurate monetization models

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA / BS degree, (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in sales, Ad sales and/or Media industry working with Fortune 500 companies
  • English (required)
  • Spanish (preferred)
  • Established relationships with decision makers, CMO’s, media agencies and other sales channels
  • Experience in negotiating, deal execution and reporting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape and opportunities for marketers in Brazil
  • Proven track record of delivering planned objectives at a senior level
  • Ability to create and lead processes that resolve complexity and drive prioritized team behaviors
  • Strategic thinker; creative problem solver able to turn strategy into action
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate, plan, implement and influence change throughout the organization to ensure superior customer results
  • Strong demonstrated track record of problem solving and priority setting, interpreting data to identify problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to create a successful business plan
  • Proven success delivering exceptional business results in a collaborative business environment
  • Hands-on leader able manage and motivate a leading sales organization and inspire trust, confidence and respect

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong relationship within the market: Agencies, Clients and Marketing professionals
Proven success delivering planned objectives and sales quotas
Must be extremely knowledgeable in sales negotiation with good understanding of programming, production and research
