Job Summary:Join Disney's Consumer Identity Engineering team in Seattle as a software engineering intern! This intern will embed directly with the team to advance the software that The Walt Disney Company has developed to register users, track their usage and provide them with personalized experiences across the entirety of the company and across all TWDC touch points, from Parks to ESPN, to our direct-to-consumer offerings. The intern's project will focus on UI modernization test automations for marketing collection across the Disney enterprise.
Disney Seattle is a large, flourishing tech-focused office, where teams develop internet applications and services for all of the major domestic and international businesses across Disney. The office is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, near convenient public transport hubs, easy access to ferries, buses, and situated across from the iconic Seattle library.
Responsibilities:A day in the life...
This intern will help develop automation necessary to certify the quality of our automated builds for MoUI around marketing collection across both mobile and web. This intern will also play a crucial role in optimizing the performance of our test automation around marketing collection to enable CI/CD tests to execute in the shortest possible time, and provide automated reporting around each test run.
- Basic coding skills in Swift or Kotlin, or Objective-C
- Any hands-on experience with mobile development, web development or automated testing is a bonus
- An understanding of CI/CD practices
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
- Junior or senior pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or related degree or a recent graduate within the past 6 months
