Job Summary
The Content, Brand & Franchise Strategy Manager is responsible for developing strategic plans for APAC titles and global brand and franchises. This role will need to support local marketing teams across the region, and work with marketing operations and publicity teams on the regional level. The scope of this role ranges from APAC title marketing campaigns strategy planning, long-term franchise planning, brand guardianship to facilitating global franchise initiatives.
Based in Seoul, this position will report to the Head of Content Marketing, Publicity, Brand & Franchise.
Responsibilities:
Develop content strategy for Disney+ APAC titles for ROW (ex. Korea)
Work with the marketing operations team to ensure timely delivery of all marketing assets required for the campaign.
Collaborate closely with the local Korea marketing team to identify synergy opportunities.
Develop, propose and drive regional brand and franchise campaigns across APAC. Work with the research and insights team to identify areas of gaps and opportunities.
Work with the creative team to produce localized marketing assets for the region.
Align and communicate with all local marketing leads. Collaborate with the local leads to optimize marketing resources across the region and cross-share best practices.
Manage brand and franchise stakeholders in the US office. Present regional franchise strategies and plans to key content creators/filmmakers and franchise leadership teams.
Provide brand guardianship and training - uphold brand guidelines, integrity and restrictions to proactively and effectively communicate this guidance to all business stakeholders.
Facilitate global and regional brand & franchise campaigns.
Identify synergy across Disney lines of businesses; communicate and align business plans amongst stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or business management.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in content marketing and strategic planning work.
Strong understanding of content and media business
Strong project management skills
Strong team player with excellent relationship building skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of Disney+ and TWDC Studio content.
Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Korean.
