Job Summary

Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing social channels by operating and managing various digital platforms and social media channels of The Walt Disney Company Korea. She or he will collaborate with agencies to strategize and execute plans for Disney+ and Disney corporate channels, including website, social media, and digital campaigns while working closely with digital partners such as Google, Meta, Naver, and Kakao, as well as internal departments, to build synergism. We prefer candidates who possess not only an understanding of content but also rich experience and insights into the digital platform and overall social media ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistent communication with the Global Team to manage the operation of social and digital platforms of all LOBs.

  • Ongoing partnership with digital partners (Google, Meta, Kakao, Naver, TikTok, etc.) and building synergy through coordinating with them. 

  • Develop and plan diverse formats of content for highly involved individuals who visit Disney’s various social channels (Disney Korea / Marvel / Star Wars / National Geographic). 

  • In alignment with Content Marketing / Disney+ / Brand & Franchise / Consumer Product Department’s strategy, manage social channels and website operation. 

  • Acting as a communication medium for promoting content across headquarters channels, such as Disney Land and Marvel Comics, CP Teams, and other external partners. 

  • Providing digital support and execution for annual/monthly marketing campaigns of the Brand & Franchise Team.

  • Regular interaction with the headquarters digital team to manage any potential risks associated with social communication and to share corporate guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management or related field in top university

  • Experience working with or for multiple divisions of a major entertainment company or global company.

  • 4+ years of related experience or deep knowledge in marketing/brand in one or more of the following industries: consumer products, consumer entertainment or gaming

  • A mature, self-motivated person who is also able to successfully implement multiple initiatives, driving results for the company.  

  • A strong “partnership” mentality in working with others. Experience in driving results through consensus building, teamwork, and identifying common goals. Demonstrated success in building relationships across all levels of an organization (Executive through Managerial). 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience in writing and executing multiple-year strategic plans.

  • Professionalism and integrity, a team player, perform well under pressure.
