Job Summary:

Job Description


System Support
  • Respond to support requests (2nd level) and provide diagnosis and resolution.
  • Escalate any unsolved issues to the relevant teams for further diagnosis.
  • Provide proactive problem management and ensure issues are resolved to meet service delivery agreements.
  • Provide technical direction and consultancy to Business Units.
  • Investigate current systems usage and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for operational process improvement.
  • Work with cross-functional IT support teams (onsite or remotely), as well as 3rd party vendor, in providing support to end-users.

System Implementation/Enhancement
  • Apply changes to systems based on approved change requests with a professionally structured approach.
  • Ensure that coding, design, and other standards are well implemented and maintained.
  • Works with business to document and validate business rules for data conversion
  • Design and implement parts of the data warehouse data model
  • Design and implement ETL flows for the data warehouse
  • Design, implement and deliver OLAP Cubes /Reports based on business requirements
  • Maintain the existing ETL jobs and BI Reports for our key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Application manager to identify IT solutions and offer technical guidance in evaluation of business requirements.

Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

Education (Required)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant qualification

Experience (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system support and web application development
  • Experience in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities
  • Background in technical design methodologies
  • Experiences in database such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, etc.
  • Experience in at least one of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy etc.

Experience (Preferred)
  • Microsoft SSIS
  • Microsoft SSAS
  • Microsoft SSRS
  • Power BI
  • Data Modeling


Professional Qualification (Preferred)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Language Skill (essential)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
