Job Summary:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director, CPGP, APAC to help develop and execute strategic, fully integrated communication plans to support the CPGP business and help drive buzz and coverage on priority CPGP initiatives, regionally.
  • Help coordinate and implement integrated Comms /PR plans with Corp Comms teams in APAC that protect and enhance the reputation of the CPGP business.
  • Develop and implement executive engagement / thought leadership strategies for APAC CPGP leaders.
  • Draft APAC press releases and draft briefings for regional executives.
  • Crisis and issues management support including monitoring brand landscape for potential issues and developing crisis comms plan, draft statements, etc.
  • Support internal comms across APAC in concert with Corp Comms teams, with a focus on continuous improvement to quickly and effectively deliver accurate and timely information to key CPGP stakeholders.
  • Work with Corp Comms in APAC to drive CSR programs that enhance the CPGP business and garner staff engagement.
  • Liaise with APAC CPGP teams across the region and seek synergy opportunities with other lines of businesses, in order to make communication efforts as efficient and effective as possible.
  • Special projects, as assigned by Executive Director(s).
  • Help ID and deepen relationships with key regional media.
  • Support the Corp Comms team in Mainland China with communications related to CPGP, working closely with the Executive Director, Corporate Communications, TWDC, China.

Basic Qualifications:

Qualifications / other skills
  • A university graduate with a minimum of 5-7 years of PR/ Communications experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Crisis communications experience.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking and the ability to take initiative with projects and anticipate issues of concern.
  • Positive attitude and able to work independently, but also collaborate as an effective team member in shared knowledge and best practices.
  • Disciplined organizational skills in all aspects of job performance with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to broadly influence and effectively forge partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Resourceful, proactive, self-starter.
  • High level of corporate professionalism.

Other requisites, languages
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
