Job Summary:

You will assist the Entertainment Department with diagnosing and resolving the Entertainment Show System LAN or Wi-Fi problem in a timely fashion. Work closely with the IT Support team and participate in managing all network security solutions and implementation, handle the Entertainment network-related Change Management, and ensure all changes are under the standard procedure and controlling. Maintain Entertainment network hardware and software, analyze problems, and monitor the Entertainment network to ensure availability to show system users. Provide server monthly performance monitoring report, Server Capacity Review and Root Cause Analysis.


  • Maintain and monitor the Entertainment network system to support shows equipment
  • Report, assist and direct maintenance of network equipment with IT support team
  • Install equipment following government, industry, and Disney standards
  • Support the events and operation for Network connection part and provide remedial assistance to the team as required
  • Develop and deliver training classes specific to the skillset
  • Other work assigned by managers
  • Supervise, assist, and sign-off all required Network before, during, and after performances
  • Ability to provide team professional training on Network equipment operation, and keep improving team working skills
  • Ensure completion of any required maintenance on the entertainment equipment
  • Report and follow-up on outstanding maintenance work orders
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Manage work orders and track through the Maximo software application

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to use Windows computers and Microsoft Office software
  • Bachelor or equivalent and above degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant professional work experience
  • Familiar with the setup and management of routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Working experience of Audio, Video, lighting equipment preferred
  • Proven experience with security principals and general software management best practices, as well as OS patching, antivirus operation, logging management
  • Basis network knowledge and troubleshooting skillset
  • Familiar with Cisco, H3C, Extreme, etc. one or more products
  • MSCE, CCNA, HCNA certificate owner preferred
  • Advanced communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audience
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Semi-fluent in English

You will be working at Shanghai Disney Resort in Pudong, Shanghai. You can take metro Line 11 to Shanghai Disney Resort station or take one of our many shuttle buses.
