Job Summary:

An Integrity value creating to Controllership this position is established to handle Disney Consumer Product hierarchical day-to-day revenue accounting related activities/revenue closing tasks and revenue accounting project tasks. The person will be instrumentally to review IPM (Revenue system) accounting duties and perform IPM posting for all revenue transactions and other internal accounting analysis report.


  • Review and Post Pending Royalty Statements prepared by the Administrator into
    IPM (Revenue system) and ensure compliance with the terms of the License Agreement
  • Perform IPM postings for all Revenue related transactions, e.g. Advances, Deferred Unused
    Advances, Guarantee Shortfall, Audit Findings etc.
  • Perform invoice checking and ensure invoices are sent to licensee correctly
  • Perform and ensure accuracy and completeness of the IPM-LRS-SAP reconciliation and work with
    Regional IT for errors fixing
  • Prepare the standard quarterly end reports and submit to Asst. Manager for review
  • Ensure consistency of data for all financial system (IPM, LRS, SAP) for quarterly end closing
  • Support Asst. Manager in providing analytical support for all closing fairs
  • Perform reclassification accounting entries related to Revenue function in SAP if need
  • Provide supporting to internal and external audit for revenue function
  • Coordinate with DCP IT and IPM project team to resolve IPM posting issue.
  • Work closely with credit & collection team for AR status monitor and clearing
Ad hoc tasks as required if any

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related major
  • Written and verbal Japanese proficiency (N1 pass), fluent in written and verbal English.
  • 3-5 years of working experience within a MNC environment
Solid IT skills, especially Excel and SAP
