Job Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will help different lines of business of the company to develop and optimize the internal control process, review the internal control guideline, put forward rectification suggestions, ensure the effective implementation of the internal control policies, assist other functional departments to carry out their work, and promote the completion of financial performance. This position will play a key role in the construction, development and operation of Shanghai Disney Resort, helping to achieve effective business development.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop proactive and preventive or monitoring controls mechanism for business activities including business planning and execution, which helps to enforce the compliance of policies and procedures in the company;
  • You will oversight the key processes (e.g. sensitive transactions, POS, cash, etc.), identify internal control deficiencies, and undertake corrective actions of the related department;
  • You will work with cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology & Digital, Legal, Finance etc.) to improve the business process or system to support the business daily activity execution;
  • You will provide risk assessment on a timely basis and participate in business discussion to provide internal controlling advisory to business leaders to facilitate business decision;
  • You will create and implement training programs that aligned with the business needs and strategic objectives by identifying training target, to support compliance and internal controls;
  • You will be responsible for launching internal control and anti-fraud initiatives, implement internal control reporting tools and dashboards;
  • You will participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned, and play your role of internal control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent;
  • Passed CICPA (The Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and with strong expertise in China Accounting Standards;
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience in Internal Control or Auditing;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel, experienced in and leveraging large-scale ERP systems, such as SAP;
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Resilience to work within a complex organization and achieve results;
  • Fluent in written, spoken and reading English and Mandarin;
  • Expertise in International Accounting Standards and/or US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is preferred;
  • Demonstrated track record in establishing the internal control compliance functions for a new business is preferred;
  • Prior experience in the entertainment, theme park, or vacation leisure industries is preferred.
